At Shin-Nichi Industries, a manufacturer of thin-walled pipes made of stainless steel, iron, and titanium, we quickly respond to various challenges requested by our customers with a rich lineup and flexible manufacturing. ■ Case Study: Transportation Equipment Exhaust Parts Manufacturer - Before Adoption There was uncertainty about whether thin-walled large-diameter pipes, which are not commonly available, could be obtained, and even if they could be, it was unclear whether those pipes could withstand severe bending processes, causing the development project to stagnate. - Proposal We proposed commercial vehicle exhaust pipes. ⇒ Compared to the pipes previously used, we achieved a 20% weight reduction through thinning. ⇒ We were able to smoothly proceed to mass production.
